The Automotive Repair Specialist is responsible for performing a wide range of car maintenance and repair tasks, inspecting vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshooting issues to ensure vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge to diagnose and repair complex issues
- Provide exceptional service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Perform skilled mechanical work, analyzing and diagnosing problems to identify solutions
- Inspect, replace, and repair defective parts, performing preventative maintenance on automobiles
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and techniques, continuously learning and improving skills
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards, maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve team goals and objectives
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in auto service and engine diagnostics
- ASE Certification preferred, but not required
- Must have technician tools and a valid driver's license
- Ability to operate and drive vehicles safely
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
- Competitive hourly rate: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
