We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina. This is a 26-week contract position with Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology.
About the RoleThis opportunity requires a Radiation Technologist with experience in computed tomography (CT). You will be working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will be required to remain in a stationary position for long periods and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
To be considered for this role, you must have one to three years of experience as a Radiation Technologist. Other certifications may be required for this position.
You will also need to possess critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
