  • Ensure bowel and bladder needs are met, adhering to established standards of care.
  • Perform activities to support residents' nutritional needs and assist with activity planning.
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Treat residents, visitors, and colleagues with respect and courtesy.
  • Accept and prioritize assignments from the LPN/RN, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork.
  • Exhibit knowledge of Resident Rights and report concerns or complaints to the LPN/RN.
  • Meet residents' needs promptly and consistently perform CNA skills, such as vital signs, foley care, and specimen collection.
  • Stay up-to-date with current knowledge and competency in CNA practice.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and contribute to a positive team dynamic.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Arkansas CNA certification required.
  • Long Term Care experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, speaking, and writing skills.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with elderly adults.
