About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse practitioner to provide high-quality care to our patients. As a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for evaluating patients for mental health disorders, diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, and collaborating with the core PACT Team to develop patient care plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients for mental health disorders and diagnose and treat mental health conditions.
- Order and perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures as related to mental health diagnoses and treatment.
- Prescribe medication and recommend dietary and activity programs.
- Perform interval follow-up visits for necessary treatment of mental health diagnosis.
- Refer patients to the VA medical specialist when indicated.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and graduate of an accredited program for nurse practitioner (MSN required).
- Certification by applicable professional organization.
- Minimum three-year clinical experience as an adult mental health CRNP.
- Must be credentialed and remain in good standing through the Veterans Health Administration (VA).
- Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS.
- Current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong computer skills.
- Energetic and optimistic demeanor.
- Strong service mentality and a focus on achieving all aspects of defined service standards.
