Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). As a CVOR RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to work in our state-of-the-art CVORs, located on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of direct Operating Room experience and be proficient in multispecialty trained Operating Room nursing.
Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care in the CVOR, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room flow.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, including medication administration and wound care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and surgical procedures.
- Minimum of one year direct Operating Room Registered Nurse experience.
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- RN License to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA).
- Ability to take call and rotate weekends, holidays, and off-shifts.
- Vascular, Orthopedics, Robotics, Neurosurgery.
