GIS Analyst

Job Title: GIS Analyst

Job Summary:

Dignitas Technologies is seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with geospatial data and Esri ArcMap, with a strong understanding of aerial imagery and simulation environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Editing and creating shapefiles and geodatabases for integration into simulation environments
• Updating shapefile attribution to reflect current project standards
• Quality controlling peer work and identifying errors according to rulesets
• Producing reference maps as needed

Requirements:

• Proficiency with ESRI ArcMap, ArcCatalog
• Experience with QGIS, Global Mapper, Adobe Photoshop, Python
• Experience in GIS and Simulation for DoD
• Problem solving/analysis
• Technical capacity
• Strong attention to detail
• Creativity
• Communication proficiency
• Time management

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, geography, or other relevant degree

1-10+ years of experience as a GIS Analyst

Additional Eligibility:

Ability to obtain a Security Clearance

Must be a US Citizen
