Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in workers' compensation cases, including hearings and trials
  • Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to support clients' claims
  • Develop and implement effective defense strategies to minimize liability and maximize compensation
  • Collaborate with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to resolve disputes and achieve favorable outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices
Requirements:
  • Admitted to practice law in the state of Missouri and in good standing
  • 1-8 years of experience in workers' compensation law, preferably in defense
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a high caseload and work under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
