Job Summary:

As a Seasonal Sales Associate at Five Below, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers promptly, understanding and meeting their needs, and promoting store events and promotions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers promptly, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently.
  • Understand and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering recommendations.
  • Promote store events and promotions to enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales.
  • Resolve customer concerns by addressing issues and offering alternative solutions.
  • Communicate needs to management, including merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback.
  • Support team and company goals by collaborating with the team to achieve overall store and company objectives.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Frequently operate cash register.
  • Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet.
  • Frequently ascend/descend ladders in order to retrieve and put away stock.
  • Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends, and may include overnight shifts and travel.

Requirements:

  • Ability to exchange accurate information in customer-facing situations.
  • Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
