Job Title: Feedlot Mechanic

Join the J.R. Simplot Company team as a Feedlot Mechanic and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our agricultural equipment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Feedlot Mechanic to join our team in Burbank, WA. As a Feedlot Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all vehicles and machinery are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including heavy equipment, automobiles, and four-wheelers.
  • Troubleshoot issues with equipment and machinery to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Work with the team to support daily operations and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
  • Collaborate with management and vendors to maintain a well-stocked inventory of parts and materials.
Requirements
  • Related experience and/or training in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and tools.
