Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Examiner for Medical Devices to join our team at Quantum Dynamics. As an Examiner, you will be responsible for conducting independent tests of the electrical and mechanical safety of active medical devices according to relevant product standards. Your expertise in electronics, measurement technology, and medical technology will be essential in ensuring the safety and efficacy of these devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent tests of the electrical and mechanical safety of active medical devices according to relevant product standards.
- Perform product tests in a modern, well-equipped electrical engineering laboratory.
- Test performance parameters, usability studies, and software documentation according to international standards.
- Carry out international approval procedures for active medical devices (CB certification, NRTL certification).
- Project management and preparation of test reports.
- Responsible evaluation of technical documentation according to medical device regulations.
- Communication with medical device manufacturers on project-related topics.
- Independent execution of inspections at manufacturing facilities.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in the field of medical technology, electrical engineering, physics, or a comparable discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of electronics, measurement technology, medical technology, and/or risk analysis.
- Independent, accurate, and precise work ethic, as well as empathy and sensitivity in customer interactions.
- Enthusiasm, team orientation, flexibility, and a convincing demeanor.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Proficient in common MS Office applications.
- Valid driver's license.
