We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our nursing services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintaining compliance with relevant policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement programs and practices to ensure safe and efficient quality nursing care for patients and their families.
- Ensure consistent application of nursing services policies and standards throughout the organization.
- Monitor patient outcomes and quality and effectiveness of nursing care.
- Oversee the performance of teams and identify and address staff training and development needs.
- Provide strategic guidance to medical staff, department heads, and administrators on nursing service and strategies.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting.
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years management/supervisory experience in General Surgery.
- Strong understanding of and demonstrated skill in leadership, strategic management, professional development, change management, communications, team building, continuous quality improvement, problem solving, decision making, innovation, financial management of operations, and stewardship of resources.
- Bachelor of Science, Nursing is required.
- Master's degree in related field strongly preferred.
- Maintain BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
- Maintain ACLS/PALS and TNCC if trauma designated.
- De-escalation training required within 90 days of hire/transfer date.
- Prefer national certification and/or professional organization membership.
