Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Nurse Extern PRN - Telemetry-Renal to join our team at Rapides Regional Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Alexandria, Louisiana.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and developing their nursing skills under the supervision of experienced registered nurses.
This role is ideal for individuals who are currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and are looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Job Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
- Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the Nurse Extern's skills/training and the needs of the Department.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited ADN or BSN program.
- Completed first round of nursing school and one year of clinicals.

Estimated Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
