Job Summary

The Sales Associate will play a vital role in assisting customers in solving problems, maintaining a clean and orderly merchandise presentation, and ensuring overall store cleanliness. This individual will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and pricing merchandise, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and providing solutions to their problems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and ensuring that the sales floor is free of clutter.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move merchandise throughout the store.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Participate in store meetings and contribute to the development of ideas to improve store performance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and climb ladders.
Compensation

$10.00-$14.00 per hour
