Position Overview:
The Food Service Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing daily activities related to patient meal services, catering, and food production operations. This role involves close collaboration with management to set expectations, establish plans, and prioritize tasks. The supervisor will ensure staff accountability regarding standards of sanitation and productivity, conduct team meetings, and promote employee recognition and diversity awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and conduct training for employees, providing coaching and performance evaluations.
  • Engage in exceptional customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate AdventHealth's service standards through proactive engagement with staff and customers.
  • Ensure operational efficiency by monitoring staffing levels and food inventory to meet menu requirements.
  • Oversee the completion of operational duties, ensuring compliance with production, quality, and service standards.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly to maintain service quality.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in the hospitality sector
- ServSafe Certification or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary Arts certification or degree
- Associate's degree in hospitality or a related field
- Certified Dietary Manager

This position offers a competitive salary range, reflecting the anticipated base pay for the role. Individual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
