Key Responsibilities- Dispense medication to patients pursuant to valid prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide patient education and counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
- Communicate effectively with prescribers, patients, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management, and wellness programs.
- Supervise and train pharmacy staff, including interns, technicians, and associates.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Contribute to business development activities and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- 5-year Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy.
- Licensed and registered Pharmacist in good standing within the state of practice.
- Immunization Certification.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate with others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Valid Driver's License.
This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. The position involves standing for long periods, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
