We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Lancaster, Ohio.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time contract position that requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in students, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and providing direct therapy services.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide one-on-one and small group therapy sessions to students, monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
- Educate parents and guardians on strategies to support their child's communication development.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Ohiolicensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with children is highly desirable.
