Cyber Defense Engineer for IT Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Defense Engineer to join our team at Matrix Innovations. As a key member of our IT security infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, and continuously developing our IT security infrastructure.

• Collaborate with our team to design, implement, and maintain our IT security infrastructure
• Support in the analysis and coordination of security incidents, and develop effective measures to mitigate risks
• Operate and further develop existing security tools, staying up-to-date with current threats and trends
• Automate rule and project activities, and integrate incident response run books into our system landscape

• You should have a strong background in IT, either through training or studies in computer science
• Advantageous knowledge of Python programming language and experience with other programming languages
• Familiarity with various IT security technologies, including SOAR, EDR/EPP, SIEM, NDR/IDS/IPS
• Excellent team spirit, commitment, and personal responsibility
• Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form
