Responsibilities and Requirements

The Youth Development Counselor will oversee, supervise, and guide resident youth, serving as a role model, liaison, and mentor. This role involves collaborating with social service staff and external providers to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with prior experience working with youth preferably in child welfare. A valid NYS driver's license is also necessary for this position.

Per-diem status allows for flexibility in scheduling, enabling you to gain hands-on experience and potentially discover a fulfilling career path. We offer competitive compensation, including an estimated annual salary of $45,000-$55,000 based on experience and qualifications.
