Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy or tractor-trailer trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maximize daily productivity while adhering to DOT regulations.
- Utilize safety equipment as necessary.
- Follow safety protocols set by DOT, the company, and clients.
- Receive and deliver materials to specified locations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of cargo, vehicles, and equipment.
- Plan and execute routes for shipping and receiving.
- Report any operational issues to dispatch promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational standards of the truck.
- Learn and operate company-specific equipment.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Minimum age of 23 years.
- At least 3 years of verifiable experience with a CDL Class A or B license.
- Airbrake endorsement preferred but not required.
- Experience with various truck types, including dump trucks and flatbeds.
- Possession of a current commercial driver's license.
- Clean driving record (MVR).
- Successful completion of drug screening and background checks.
- Must meet DOT physical and medical standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manage physical demands of the job.
- Strong commitment to work ethics.
