About the Role
The Faculty Neuro-Anesthesiologist will provide medical services within the scope of their licensing, training, and clinical privileges, and supervise and teach residents and/or fellows as indicated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Education and Development: Provide educational programs for residents and fellows, and participate in the development of educational materials and curricula.
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care, including anesthesia services, and participate in the development of patient care policies and procedures.
- Research: Conduct research in the field of neuro-anesthesiology, and participate in the development of research protocols and studies.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of quality improvement projects and initiatives.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and participate in the development of communication strategies and protocols.
- Financial Planning: Participate in financial planning and budgeting, and contribute to the development of financial plans and strategies.
Requirements:
- Education: MD or DO degree.
- Experience: Successful completion of a residency program.
- Licensure: AZ MD License, AZ licensed physician Anesthesiologist, Board qualified or certified, Credentialed SJHMC, Membership in appropriate professional associations and societies.
