As a Digital Engineer, Mid, you will work with our team to build innovative solutions to empower our clients to develop and deploy the next generation of space systems. You will grow your skills by researching new requirements, technologies, and threats, and using cutting-edge engineering methodologies and tools to create tomorrow's solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform systems engineering analysis and develop systems engineering products for space systems
- Develop technical specifications, ICDs, and system architecture for space systems or weapon systems
- Utilize digital engineering tools, including Cameo or MagicDraw, Sparx, DOORS, or IBM rhapsody
- Collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions
- 3+ years of experience with large-scale space mission and systems engineering and integration on national security space programs
- 2+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for space systems
- 2+ years of experience with practical MBSE for the development of technical specifications, ICDs, and system architecture for space systems or weapon systems
- Experience with digital engineering tools, including Cameo or MagicDraw, Sparx, DOORS, or IBM rhapsody
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
- Experience with MATLAB, STK, ModelCenter, or TeamCenter
- Experience with Space Systems Command (SSC), or Air Force Research Lab (AFRL)
- Experience with programming or automating with MBSE toolsets, and utilizing their APIs to build additional capabilities not built into the tool
- Experience building digital twins
- Knowledge of Systems Machine Learning (SysML) and DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
- Knowledge of the use cases of AI and how they could be applicable to digital engineering challenges
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree in Engineering
- OMG Certified Systems Model Professional (OCSMP) or INCOSE SE Certification

CompensationSalary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137, annualized USD.
