At Acadia Healthcare, we offer competitive hourly rates and shift differentials for our PRN Patient Care Techs. The calculated hourly range for this role in California is $21.00-$23.22 per hour, plus an additional $3.00 for overnight shifts.

Job Summary

This PRN Patient Care Tech position is responsible for providing high-quality care to adolescent patients in a fast-paced treatment environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of 12-step recovery and experience working with clients who are chemically dependent.

Essential Functions
  • Answering phones, filing, and documenting shift notes
  • Conducting facilities checks and rounds
  • Assisting with admissions and new resident orientation
  • Behavioral/crisis intervention
Education and Credentialed Requirements
  • Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Experience: Knowledge or experience working with clients who are chemically dependent preferred
  • Certifications: RADT_i or EMT preferred
  • Licenses: Current Driver's License
  • Special Requirements: Knowledge of 12 Step Recovery
