Job Summary

The New York Power Authority is seeking an experienced Network Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT systems and services
  • Develop and implement IT strategies and policies to align with business objectives
  • Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of IT resources to ensure optimal functioning and reliability
  • Assist and provide support to technology users within the organization, including training on IT systems and resolving any issues or problems they encounter
  • Manage and provide network and communications services to ensure seamless connectivity and communication within the organization
  • Implement and manage processes and frameworks for data governance and management to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
  • Establish and implement an IT governance framework, processes, and management practices to ensure effective decision-making, performance monitoring, and reporting of IT services
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field required with minimum 4 years of directly related experience
  • Experience in following ITIL processes, procedures, and ticketing systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Skilled in understanding and managing risks appropriately
  • Experience with end-user compute devices and peripherals, software applications, Active Directory, and Remote Desktop Tools
