Kettering Health offers a competitive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 for eligible applicants. Bonus amounts may vary based on shift and job status. Campus Overview

Kettering Health Main Campus, formerly Kettering Medical Center, has been serving Kettering, Ohio, and the Greater Dayton area since 1964. The campus includes the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Heart Hospital, maternity services with a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and level II Emergency Care. In 2020, KH Main Campus received an A from the Leapfrog Group, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States. We have received 4-Star Baby-Friendly Hospital status by the Ohio Hospital Association and have been awarded as one of the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals by IBM Watson Health in 2020.

Responsibilities and Requirements

The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other healthcare providers. The RN is accountable for their own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law. Utilizing organizational resources, the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care, including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. A graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred. BLS certification is required, and ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications may be required based on unit scope of practice.
