Job Title: Formulation Scientist I

Location: Bend, OR

Duration: 12 Months (Temp to Perm Possible)

Pay: $30 ph.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Formulation Scientist I to join our team at Indotronix Avani Group. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing method development, method validation, and analytical testing activities for clinical development materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate analytical methods for clinical development materials using various techniques such as HPLC, Dissolution, GC, PXRD, FT-IR, DSC, and KF.
  • Record and report results of analyses in accordance with lab procedures, GDP, and ALCOA.
  • Create documentation detailing results, including Certificate of Testing, Reports, and PowerPoint Slides.
  • Review and interpret analytical test results, making recommendations based on data.
  • Conduct method development experiments designed by SMEs.
  • Write and execute method validations.
  • Recognize and report deviations, validation discrepancies, or unexpected results.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace consistent with management expectations.
  • Clean and calibrate analytical instrumentation as needed.
  • Perform all duties in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related physical science.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a regulated laboratory environment. GMP experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with various analytical techniques, including: HPLC, GC, Dissolution.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and data integrity (ALCOA).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
