Certification Requirements

Job Details
  • Position: CT Tech
  • Shift: 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM with a rotating day off during weekdays
  • Daily Caseload: Managed per technician
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year
  • First-time Technologists: Welcomed
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, with potential holiday shifts
  • On-call Requirement: No
  • Floating Requirement: Not applicable
  • Local Candidates: Not accepted (75 miles radius rule)
  • Pending State License: Accepted
  • Time Off Restrictions: No more than 7 days
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Special Requirements
  • Experience in a Level 1 trauma center with complex cases is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Siemens scanners is advantageous.
  • Required experience in outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Preferred experience in Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospitals, Community Hospitals, and Adult ICU.
  • General skills required include PACS and contrast administration.
  • Preferred skills include IV starts, portable imaging, and biopsies.
  • Required CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction.
  • Preferred CT procedures include aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and transplant studies.
Job Requirements
  • ARRT CT Certification: Must be in hand at the time of application.
