Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer various therapies, including physical agents and manual techniques, to relieve pain and achieve established goals.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to educate and empower individuals to maximize their independence and functional activity.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with insurance guidelines and departmental policies.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary approaches to patient care and contribute to the development of educational programs and community outreach initiatives.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S. degree.
  • Current licensure in Connecticut or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in the use of Windows-based programs and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel between multiple work sites and possess reliable transportation.
