Job Summary

The Unit Secretary provides administrative support to the clinic staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical setting. This role involves greeting and assisting patients, maintaining accurate medical records, and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Enter treatment information into the Medical Information System (MIS)
  • Initiate, maintain, and complete medical records
  • Assist with data-related needs, including entering episodes of care and responding to requests for data
  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes as requested
  • Maintain accurate treatment statistics and provide reports to the nurse manager or area operations director
  • Perform duties of a receptionist, including sorting and distributing mail, answering and routing phone calls, and greeting and directing visitors
  • Work with integrity, upholding organizational goals and values
  • React appropriately under pressure and accept responsibility for own actions
  • Use equipment and materials properly and adapt to changes in the work environment
  • Demonstrate attention to detail with accuracy and thoroughness
