About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Copper Splicer to join our team at Kanaan Communications, LLC. As a Copper Splicer, you will play a critical role in the upgrade and splicing of copper cable, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks associated with the upgrade and splicing of copper cable, including assembly and testing of equipment.
  • Maintain proper inventory on vehicles based on work assignments.
  • Assemble equipment according to design specifications.
  • Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation.
  • Install and repair fiber lines in trenches and/or pedestals using various hand tools.
  • Prepare paperwork to track daily production and accurately record completed work on job site blueprints.
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States for this company.
  • Have 0-1 or more years of experience as a copper splicer with experience on outside plant or system installations while working from blueprints, specifications, and system documentation.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
