Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse with Dartmouth Health Children's

The Chad Inpatient Unit, a state-of-the-art pediatric care facility, has undergone a significant renovation to create a combined PICU and Pediatric unit. This 18-bed integrated unit provides care for med-surgical, stepdown, and critical care level pediatric patients, all on the same floor.
Our UnitWe have two specialties: Pediatric medical surgical and Pediatric ICU. Our team of experienced nurses provides care for patients from birth to 18 years old, with a patient and family-centered philosophy that views patients and their families as partners in their care.

- Neurosurgery
- Trauma care
- Care for patients with acute and chronic medical diagnoses, including dehydration, failure to thrive, seizures, cystic fibrosis, asthma, diabetes, oncology, respiratory insufficiency, and cardiac disease
Our new integrated unit care model presents a great opportunity for learners. Our Pediatric medical surgical RNs care for pediatric patients and become certified hematology/oncology RNs, while our Pediatric ICU RNs care for critical care patients and stepdown patients. Both teams have opportunities to gain advanced certifications, including APHON and TNCC.

Requirements- Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 1 year of experience
- Associate Degree (ADN) prepared nurses with 2 years' experience
- Commit to completing a BSN or higher nursing degree within 10 years of hire date
- Required licensure/certifications: Licensed Registered Nurse with New Hampshire eligibility, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate, and ACLS Certificate (as applicable)
