Welder

Innova Solutions is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and welding metal parts to meet production requirements.

• Assemble parts prior to welding, ensuring proper fit-up and clearance
• Weld production-grade hardware to meet quality standards
• Perform visual weld inspection, including under 10x magnification
• Section and polish hardware to evaluate weld penetration
• Develop understanding of weld terminology and backup gases
• Use gage tools, such as calipers and micrometers, to ensure accuracy
• Meet standard work requirements and complete tasks as directed by management

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass Eye Exam as prescribed under AA TECH Quality Policies
• Completed Weld Safety Training
• Completed AA TECH on-the-job training for Basic and Advanced Weld Operator
• Excellent communication skills

• Maintain weld certification and sign-off obtained as a Weld Trainee
• Complete one of the two following training options:

Option A

• Obtain S-558 Certification
• Certify on two S-558 weld types
• Obtain Work Instruction Sign-off for at least one part within each of the two new certifications

Option B

• Certify on four non-S-558 weld types
• Obtain Work Instruction Sign-off for at least one part within each new certification
