Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Para-Educator to support students with mild/moderate needs in our educational setting. As a key member of our team, you will provide individualized support to students, facilitating their academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide academic support to students with mild/moderate needs, including homework assistance and test preparation
- Assist students with daily living skills, such as organization and time management
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Support students in developing social skills and building positive relationships with peers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred
- Experience working with students with mild/moderate needs; knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff
