Design Engineer II

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer II to join our team at Syntron Material Handling. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our vibratory feeding systems, bulk material handling equipment, and mechanical systems.

• Design and Development: Modify existing drawings and designs as needed, and create new designs for our vibratory feeding systems, bulk material handling equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and design calculations.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless design and production processes.
• Project Management: Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion of projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in bulk material handling or a similar industry.
• Skills: Intermediate-Expert level proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD software, experience with AutoCad, and knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and assembly.
• Knowledge and Experience: Familiarity with FEA software, strong mechanical aptitude, and ability to analyze, diagnose, and implement corrections to equipment operation issues.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
