Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Operations Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for supporting store management in the execution of administrative functions, ensuring an excellent customer experience, and maintaining a clean and organized store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support store management in the execution of administrative functions, including scheduling, expense account monitoring, and supply inventory management.
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
  • Role model outstanding customer service and promote a culture of honesty and integrity.
  • Maintain Associate personnel files and perform daily cash office functions.
  • Support Operations Assistant Store Manager with scheduling, expense account monitoring, supply inventory management, and requisition.
  • Maintain proper Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience.
  • Support and respond to coverage needs throughout the store.
  • Ensure store team executes tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritize as needed.
  • Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provide progress updates.
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs.
  • Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Able to train others.
  • 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.

This position has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
