Responsibilities

As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical nutrition expertise through nutritional assessments and documentation.
  • Assessing potential nutritional risks and implementing appropriate medical nutrition therapy interventions.
  • Providing nutritional counseling and education for patients and families within care communities.
  • Collaborating with the dining department to ensure nutrition plans are executed effectively.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • A Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
  • Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred, but not required).
