We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Inpatient Art Therapist to join our team at Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System (SBHS). As an Inpatient Art Therapist, you will be responsible for providing art therapy services to patients in our inpatient hospital setting.
Responsibilities:- Provide art therapy services in group settings to patients in our inpatient hospital.
- Design and implement art therapy activities and assessments to meet the needs of our patients.
- Conduct one-on-one expressive art therapy sessions with long-term patients.
- Participate in special projects, displays, and initiatives to promote patient engagement and well-being.
- Master's Degree in Art Therapy or a related field.
- Experience in conducting group and individual art therapy sessions.
- Time management, psychotherapy, organizational skills, empathy, and ability to develop therapeutic rapport.
- ATR eligible, ATR preferred, or Certification as ATR-BC.
