Position Overview: CT Technologist

The role of a CT Technologist is essential in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services through computed tomography. This position requires adherence to established protocols to ensure patient safety and the accuracy of imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues in a professional manner to uphold patient safety standards.
  • Conduct precise diagnostic CT examinations to aid in patient diagnosis.
  • Ensure the functionality and safety of imaging equipment through regular maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists to verify the accuracy of clinical data.
  • Administer intravenous access when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of examination rooms and equipment between patient visits.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiology program recognized by the AMA.
  • Compliance with ACR accreditation standards.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive understanding of anatomy and pathology relevant to CT imaging.
  • Proficient communication skills in English.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Completion of necessary background checks.
  • Willingness to work across various Ridgeview Imaging locations.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • ARRT Registration.
  • CPR Certification.
