Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Jackson General Hospital. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients, working independently and in consultation with referring physicians and supervisory personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a full range of physical therapy services to patients, including evaluations, treatments, and re-evaluations as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.
  • Current or temporary licensure in the state of West Virginia. Permanent licensure obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
  • One (1) year acute hospital experience.
Working Environment

The Physical Therapist will work in a clinical setting, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility, organization, and strong communication skills.
