Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at a well-established steel company in the Lakeland, FL area. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and setting up various machines, handling parts, and ensuring smooth workflow within the shop.

• Machining Operations: Operate and set up a range of machines, including angle line, brake press, beam line, plasma cutter, EMI machine, saw, laser cutter, and part sorter.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure that all materials meet safety and quality standards.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of materials received and processed, reporting any discrepancies to supervisors.
• Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Prior experience operating machinery is essential.
• Skills: Proficient in Apple iOS and Android OS platforms, with TEKLA EPM GO preferred.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift or carry up to 50lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Competitive Salary: $18.00 - $20.00/hour, based on experience.
