We are seeking a skilled Bakery Decorator Specialist to join our team at Tom's Food Center. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes, cookies, and other baked goods that exceed our customers' expectations.

• Decorating and Baking: Decorate cakes, cookies, and other items as determined by production schedules and customer requests.
• Production Support: Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods, including baking and frying duties as assigned.
• Merchandising and Inventory: Properly fill, rotate, and merchandise bakery shelves, cases, and displays. Notify the Bakery Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Quality Control: Handle spoiled or damaged products per established guidelines.
• Customer Service: Practice suggestive selling techniques with customers and maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department.

• Experience: One (1) year of cake decorating experience in a production or retail bakery environment.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
• Mathematical and Reading Skills: Basic mathematical, reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Physical Demands: May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
