Painter Supervisor

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a skilled Painter Foreman to lead a team of up to 15 Painters in ensuring adherence to safety protocols and delivering high-quality coatings work.

• Lead and supervise a team of Painters, enforcing site safety rules and collaborating with ES&H Safety Coordinators.
• Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with jobsite work rules within the crew.
• Track and report work performed accurately, conducting coatings quality control tasks, including DFT measurement, chloride contamination assessment, environmental condition monitoring, and holiday detection.
• Possess skills and knowledge to identify various coatings and determine appropriate repair methods and procedures.
• Meet the qualifications of a Journey Painter, performing industrial coatings tasks involving surface preparation, mixing, and application in operational industrial settings.

• Proficient in power tool cleaning, hand sanding, and solvent cleaning for safety and efficiency.
• Handles, measures, and mixes industrial coatings, utilizing a half face respirator for protection.
• Experienced in various coating application methods such as brush & roll, airless spray, and conventional spray.
• Operates, cleans, and maintains painting equipment, ensuring safe and effective usage.
• Safely handles, stores, and labels materials to prevent accidents and maintain organization.
• Performs coatings work on both ground-level and elevated areas, requiring fall protection equipment and access scaffolding.
• Familiar with design documents and isometric piping drawings for accurate application.
• Knowledgeable about coatings inspection equipment including wet film thickness gauges, DFT gauges, and environmental condition monitors for quality control.
