About the Role:

Bosch USA is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Management and Methods Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct process, product, and system audits to ensure compliance with Bosch Auditing procedures and industry standards (ISO9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, etc.).
  • Manage and coordinate customer and third-party audits, making relevant decisions concerning the audit process and aligning with Key Process Owners to resolve any issues.
  • Collect and analyze information to provide recommendations for certifications and establish, communicate, and implement an Internal Audit Program.
  • Report periodically on the effectiveness of the audit program using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as schedule, non-conformances, closure times, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Prior experience in quality assurance and auditing within the automotive industry.
  • Lead Auditor Certifications (ISO/ITAF, VDA 6.3) or ability to obtain certifications quickly upon hiring.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive quality standards and regulations, including ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949.
  • Strong understanding of core tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plan.
  • Strong background and knowledge of technical applications of the standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive manufacturing.
  • Satisfactory completion of an approved IATF 16949 Auditor/Lead Auditor course.
  • VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Certification.
  • Experience in a highly controlled complex manufacturing environment (such as semiconductors or pharmaceuticals).
