The Personal Banker role is part of a workplace model that does not permit remote work.

Key Responsibilities of a Personal Banker include:

  • Processing and verifying various financial transactions, including cash handling, check cashing, and maintaining accurate transaction records.
  • Engaging with customers and prospective clients to assess their needs and recommending STAR's products and services accordingly.
  • Accepting payments for loans, credit cards, and other services.
  • Maintaining and balancing the cash drawer accurately.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Initiating new account setups.
  • Addressing and resolving customer concerns promptly, either personally or by directing them to the appropriate source.
  • Providing account-related information and assisting with additional services.
  • Keeping current on bank products, services, and procedures.
  • Following and implementing all operational policies and procedures.
  • Completing annual compliance training.

Selected candidates are expected to progress to a Personal Banker II role after a specified period of employment and must fulfill all certification requirements.
