Seeking a Dedicated Mental Health Therapist

We are looking for a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Volunteers of America - Minnesota & Wisconsin. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy to adolescents struggling with mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the treatment team
  • Provide clinical direction to the treatment team and lead treatment plan review meetings
  • Attend and participate in weekly clinical and psychiatric consultation meetings and all required trainings
  • Coordinate consultation and services with psychiatrist, case managers, families, and other staff as needed
  • Complete ongoing documentation, including diagnostic assessments, session notes, and group notes

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university and working towards licensure
  • Licensed Mental Health Professional or currently seeking clinical licensure
  • Experience with DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
  • Effective communication, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients and co-workers
