Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests to our food service area and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Providing accurate and timely information about our menu and services to guests.
  • Communicating product changes or unavailable items to guests and offering alternatives when possible.
  • Assisting in receiving and restocking product upon arrival, including inspecting for quality and expiration dates.
  • Complying with local sanitation laws and practices, taking pride in how food is handled, produced, and stored.
  • Taking orders from guests, accurately ringing in and charging for all menu items.
  • Setting up, maintaining, and breaking down workstations according to company and health department standards.
  • Following all recipes and procedures without any deviation, preparing all orders quickly and accurately.
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction, ensuring nobody leaves unhappy or unsatisfied.
  • Handling customer complaints and feedback in a polite and professional manner.
  • Reporting for every shift on time and following all scheduled breaks and out times, as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50#.
  • Ability to read and speak fluent English.
  • Ability to perform all functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of The Big 8 Food Allergies; prevent cross contamination and ensure safety at every step.
  • Knowledge of local health rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and equipment operation.
  • Customer service and/or food service experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
