Compensation: $50-62 AN HOUR (W2 ONLY)

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Thermal Analysis Mechanical Engineer in Orlando, FL. This role is integral to our hardware engineering team, focusing on the design and development of mechanical, structural, optical, thermal, and electronic systems and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and development to create effective thermal and structural solutions for various systems and components.
  • Utilize relevant analytical tools for thermal and structural assessments.
  • Develop and correlate analytical models to support product development initiatives.
  • Perform performance, structural, and thermal testing and measurements.
  • Document and report on product structural and thermal performance.
  • Evaluate design merits in relation to product specifications and reliability.
  • Collaborate with suppliers of materials and components, including plastics, composites, metals, ceramics, and thermal interface materials.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Finite Element Modeling (FEM).
  • Experience in Thermal Analysis.
  • Background in Thermal/Mechanical testing.
  • Knowledge of Fluid System Analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Siemens SimCenter 3D Thermal.
  • Familiarity with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis.
  • Experience in 1D Fluid Network Analysis.
