The Lamar State College-Port Arthur is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our Upward Mobility Nursing Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction, supervision, and mentorship to students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver classroom instruction, lab sessions, and clinical supervision to students in the Upward Mobility Nursing Program.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's goals and objectives.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to promote academic success.
- Collaborate with program coordinators and faculty to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education.
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of six semester hours of graduate-level content in nursing.
- Three years of experience in nursing or nursing education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced academic environment with occasional evening and weekend commitments. A valid Texas Driver's License is also required.
