Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Vets Pets. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our furry patients and their owners.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures and exams
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
  • Keep hospital areas clean and organized, including runs, cages, and treatment areas
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets
  • Assist with laundry and cleaning duties as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a veterinary hospital or animal care setting preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
