Facilities Technician II

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities/SAP Technician II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for general plant maintenance and repairs of the buildings and equipment. Additionally, the role will involve SAP/ERP administration work, including creating new equipment in our system, building task lists, creating maintenance plans, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete production equipment repairs, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Create and maintain equipment records and documentation (SAP).
- Monitor assets regarding security measures, door security equipment, and ensure it remains functional, including daily maintenance issues such as batteries and mechanical hardware.
- Operate multiple models of forklifts, scissor lifts, flatbed trucks, and pickup trucks with trailers.
- Perform job tasks, including lifting, using ladders, and climbing stairways.
- Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including janitorial, plumbing systems, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.
- Perform carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electro-mechanical systems to minimize equipment downtime.
- Update work orders with required data, work hours, and equipment downtime.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Proficiency in SAP and ability to complete tasks such as creating new equipment in our system, building task lists, creating maintenance plans, etc.
- Skilled in Facilities competencies, such as painting, cleaning, carpentry, and assembly.
- Ability to use forklifts and heavy machinery.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Flexibility to changing priorities and a dynamic work environment.
- A proactive mindset and a self-starter.
- Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft required.
