About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at American Vision Partners. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia care in the operating suite and pre-operative area.
Responsibilities:- Function as a member of the operating room team, providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans, utilizing patient history, physical examination, and laboratory data.
- Administer anesthesia utilizing various techniques, including peribulbar, retro-bulbar, topical, local infiltration, intravenous sedation, and analgesia.
- Participate in planning for peri-operative patient care with physicians and nursing staff, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of each patient's anesthesia, including medication administration and patient response.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to manage any clinical emergencies that may arise during procedures.
- Remain on the premises until the patient has been discharged from the recovery area, ensuring a smooth and safe transition.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and an accredited school of anesthesia.
- Current Arizona RN License.
- Current certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- Thorough knowledge of ophthalmic anesthesia techniques and peri-orbital anesthesia.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
